For any of you looking for a good preworkout that isn’t horrible for you, this one is AWESOME! I even have my boyfriend (who has been working out using a pre workout for 6+ years) using it! It’s awesome! Pumps you up without caffeine or chemicals-it’s all plants! And it causes no jitters or crash! I LOVE IT
Haha I sound like an ad but it’s that good!

Chopped bananas with date caramel (6 dates blended with a splash of water). Simple and delicious!
mmmm

This is one of my favorite meals. Avocado salad rolls & peanut sauce!

The girl wrote this on Facebook: ”I went to the beach the other day, for the first time since I was a child, I didn’t wear shorts or anything to cover up, this is a massive deal for me, I hate my body even without the scars, I believe I am fat and disgusting but, I pushed through the major anxiety, shaking and almost crying and made it to the water. Its a big deal, I did it.
This took a whole fucking lot of courage to post..”
And now this dickhead comments this. I can’t, i really can’t Facebook.See this is what is wrong with humanity. This girl is mentally injured, But she takes a step towards better times. She tries to get back. She even go to the beach, only wearing a minimalistic piece of clothe. She convinces her biggest fear, the fear of people laughing at her. And she’s even more brave. Afterwords she posts this remarkable photo on Facebook. It maybe took her minutes to post this. Sitting there by her computer, with her finger on the mouse. Should she press ”Upload” or not?”
And she did it. She was brave enough to do it.
And then this is what she gets. A hate comment. And there was of course more comments than that. And if that isn’t enough, that comment up there, got 5 likes. 5 LIKES. People agree with that terrible person?
My faith in humanity is almost gone now. I want to show this girl, that i’m with her.

EASY HEALTHY VEGAN BLACK QUINOA, BERRY AND CHIA SEED ENERGY BAR TOPPED WITH CRANBERRIES AND DARK CHOCOLATE RECIPE
- 1/2 cup of quinoa
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 cup of frozen berries
- 12 dates
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 2 bits of dark chocolate
This energy bar is rammed with goodness! Not only is it the quinoa a complete protein, meaning that it contains all of essential amino acids the body cannot synthesize from other sources, but it also has the highest iron content of any grain! Additionally it is rich in essential amino acids and vitamins A, B2 and E and is an excellent gluten free alternative to other grains. I get mine from the wonderful people at Real Foods. The dates and berries are full of vitamins and dietary fibre and keep the whole bar stuck together. And well, the chocolate is a little happiness booster, filled with antioxidants and caffeine to get you pumped up and ready to go :)
And the best point is they are so easy to make! Start off with rinsing the quinoa in cold water, then bring to the boil and let it simmer for approximately 15 minutes, drain and set aside to cool (if you have the time, let it cool in the fridge overnight). Next step is the base: throw the chia seeds, berries and dates into the food processor and blend till its a gooey sticky red mess. I like to add apple sauce and vanilla for extra flavor. In a bowl mix most of the dried cranberries with the black quinoa and red mess. Spread the mixture on a sheet of baking paper, it should have a fairly dense consistency. Bake at 190 C/fan 170C/gas 5 for thirty minutes, depending on the thickness of the energy bars. Once crispy, remove from oven and cut into portions. Now’s the time to melt the dark chocolate in a small saucepan and cover each bar liberally, then sprinkle chopped dried cranberries on top while the chocolate is still warm. Let the whole thing cool et voilà! Enjoy as a workout snack, a posh biscuit or a lunchbox snack.

Cinnamon apple and blackberry quinoa with chia seeds and raw almond butter for a patriotic British themed breakfast this St George’s Day.

I’m becoming an oatmeal whore and I’m okay with that~

so the granola bars were a semi success. Taste delicious..but kinda falling apart.
I used oats, almonds, dried cranberries, hemp hearts, and honey :)

While peanut butter can be described on Urban Dictionary as “a sexual time between two men and a sandwich”, we as fitblrs know that it is actually just a piece of heaven placed on earth…. and consuming an entire jar of it is like a mix of being serenaded by Michael Buble and watching a Ryan Goseling movie. Mouth watering and wonderful.
But not all peanut butter is treated equally. While most labels read the same for calorie content, fat content, and protein, peanut butter that isn’t natural is packed with hydrogenated oils and sugar. They do this so that the oil doesn’t separate (and go to the top of the jar). In addition, natural peanut butter has less sodium and less sugar than your average peanut butter you had as a kid. So when picking out your peanut butter, look for the nutrition labels and search for the ones with the least amount of ingredients, it’s better for you, and (in my opinion) tastes better too :)
My organic peanut butter doesn’t even have salt in it :) it’s yummy!
